Hojoko Japanese Tavern, the Cushman Concepts-owned restaurant and bar, is seeking a Bar Manager. Hojoko is a vibrant and busy restaurant located in the heart of Boston's Fenway neighborhood open for lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. We are looking for an organized, positive and collaborative manager with strong bartending experience. Ideal candidates must be comfortable controlling the cost of goods through effective budgeting, purchasing practices, and inventory control.
This position is responsible for management of the bar program in conjunction with the Cushman Concepts Vice President of Beverage, Ted Kilpatrick. They are also responsible for daily front of house shift operations including supervision of team, staffing levels, and service, food & beverage quality. Additionally, they are part of a team responsible for the safety and upholding our commitment to a culture of care both for each other and each of our guests.
