Participant Services - Client Relationship Associate

Contract to possible perm

Hybrid Schedule

Important Details:

• Pay Rate: $23/hour.
• Training: You'll receive 25 days of comprehensive training provided by Vanguard University. 100% attendance is expected during this period.
• Training Schedule (Hybrid): Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. You'll work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, and on-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
• Post-Training Schedule (Hybrid): Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST (37.5-40 hour work week). You'll continue with the hybrid model: remote on Mondays and Fridays, and on-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
• Location: Hybrid model in Malvern, PA (On-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
• Equipment Pickup: Contractors will start on the Friday before the scheduled Monday start date to pick up equipment and attend New Hire Orientation. This allows for a smooth transition into training.
• Internet Stipend: An $80 per month internet stipend is provided. Requires an internet speed of at least 1Gbps download (100mbps) and 30 Mbps upload.

This isn't just a customer service role; you'll become a technical subject matter expert through comprehensive paid training, helping investors with everything from answering questions to processing monetary transactions and explaining financial products.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Client Relationship Associate, you'll be the initial point of contact for Vanguard's clients, providing exceptional service and guidance over the phone.

• Inbound Calls: Respond to a high volume of inbound calls, assisting investors with their inquiries, monetary transactions, and questions about financial products and services.
• Client Relationships: Use virtual technology to build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique investment needs to offer appropriate solutions.
• Transaction Processing: Follow standardized processes to accurately complete monetary and administrative transactions.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve general account issues and identify opportunities to position relevant products and services.
• Continuous Learning: Develop a strong understanding of Vanguard funds, products, and services, along with the broader financial services industry.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team, contributing to a professional environment that values respect and teamwork.
