Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant / Physician Extender – Full-Time with Performance Bonus

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Graduate with prior clinical experience to join our dynamic, multi-specialty practice specializing in Neurology, Physical Medicine, and Orthopedics . This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a detail-oriented and efficient individual who can work seamlessly across multiple clinic locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island .

This position requires efficiency, precision, and excellent communication skills . The ideal candidate will be confident in seeing 25–30 patients per day, managing documentation in real time, and supporting smooth clinic operations.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $4,000 – $5,000 monthly.
  • Performance & Efficiency Bonus: Additional incentives based on productivity and quality metrics ($1,500 – $2,500 monthly).
  • Annual salary review and merit-based increases.

Schedule & Locations:

  • Days: 5 days per week (Monday–Saturday).
  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
  • Travel: Must be able to work at all clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • See both consults and follow-ups , ensuring patient flow remains on schedule.
  • Obtain and document accurate medical histories and test results directly into the EMR.
  • Complete all physician notes and documentation on the same day of the visit.
  • Place diagnostic and treatment orders under physician supervision.
  • Assist in developing treatment plans and patient education.
  • Manage forms, letters, and insurance-related paperwork efficiently.
  • Support medication adherence programs and track compliance.
  • Room patients, explain procedures, and assist during physical exams.
  • Coordinate daily clinic functions and patient call-backs.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Medical graduate.
  • Prior experience in patient history taking, scribing, or medical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Legal eligibility to work in New York State (US citizen or valid work visa).
  • Must be able to work in all clinic locations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting.
