At Air Technical Industries in Mentor, Ohio, we are dedicated to designing and building unique material handling machinery. We are looking for a dynamic and hard-working individual for responsibilities in the machine shop, manual machining on engine and turret lathes, and CNC lathes. Additional responsibilities include assembling and testing hydraulic cylinders. We offer competitive wages and benefits. Responsibilities:

• Plans work assignments by studying drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Sets up equipment by setting adjustments and tooling to match specifications and testing tolerances.
• Fabricates/machines parts by operating equipment; using hand tools.
• Verifies parts by using precision measuring instruments; tests production routine.
• Assembles hydraulic cylinders, then performs pressure and leak tests on the test stand.
• Document equipment changes by completing records.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing quality is required for this position.
• Proficiency in controls and instrumentation is a must-have qualification.
• Ability to maintain equipment is essential for the role.
• Previous experience in manufacturing operations with job knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools is necessary.
• Knowledge of tooling and safety management is required.
• Strong focus on quality is a key qualification.
• Dependability is a crucial trait needed for this position.
