Job Description

Maxx Properties and Cambrian Apartments are excited to share a new opportunity for a Community Manager in Aurora. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Community Manager with a strong background in property management, resident relations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is skilled in overseeing daily operations, maximizing occupancy, managing budgets, and maintaining high resident satisfaction. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained living environment while achieving property performance goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight

  • Track and report financial variances; identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Recommend rent adjustments based on market analysis and budget targets
  • Ensure income is maximized and expenses are controlled

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage onsite staff
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations
  • Foster a productive, positive work environment

Leasing & Marketing

  • Support and supervise leasing and marketing efforts
  • Monitor leasing conversion rates and provide training as needed
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws
  • Implement resident retention and renewal initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience managing multi-family communities
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of property budgeting and reporting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Yardi experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
