Position Title: Temporary Facilities Associate
Location: Stamford, CT - Block away from Metro North, free parking in the building
Compensation: Pay is negotiable.
Duration: 1 month (medical leave coverage)
Work Schedule Options:
•Part-time: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday – Thursday (24 hours per week)
•Full-time: 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
Overview: A Facilities Associate is responsible for managing a building or other facility, ensuring both maintenance and administrative duties are efficiently handled. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all areas are clean and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
Conference Rooms, Offices, and Supply Area:
•Ensure conference rooms, offices, and supply areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
•Manage inventory in all restrooms and supply areas, ensuring everything is in stock.
Mail Collection:
•Collect and distribute mail efficiently.
Inventory Management:
•Place inventory orders on Thursday and Friday, and receive deliveries on Monday morning.
•Conduct inventories and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
•Vacuum carpets and clean common areas daily.
•Conduct preventive maintenance on all store equipment and order parts needed for repairs.
•Maintain equipment and supervise the grounds.
Qualifications:
•Reliable and punctual.
•Ability to think on your feet and solve problems efficiently.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
•Proficiency in inventory management and maintenance.
•Excellent communication and coordination skills.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
