What You’ll Do as a Caregiver: * Provide hands-on personal care (assisting with walking, grooming, dressing, hygiene) * Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation * Offer medication reminders and transportation support (if authorized) * Engage in meaningful conversation and companionship * Encourage hobbies and activities that bring joy to the client * Observe and report any changes in condition or behavior * Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members * Document care tasks using user-friendly tools Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid CNA or HCA license (required) * Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Ability to work independently and respond to client needs with professionalism * Must be at least 18 years old * Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobility * Must pass Washington State background checks and exclusion screenings * Authorized to work in the U.S. * Willingness to commute within our service area and respond promptly to assigned shifts * For those providing transportation: valid insurance that meets WA minimum coverage Who We Are: Senior Helpers is a nationally recognized leader in non-medical home care, offering services including personal care, companionship, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, transitional care, Parkinson’s care, and respite support.
