Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Full-Time or Contract)

Location: Danielsville, GA | In-Person

Compensation: $95,000 – $115,000 annually

About the Role:

North Georgia Civil is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead the successful execution of large-scale commercial remodels of shipping facilities across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated construction professional to join a growing team focused on quality, safety, and results.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope and expectations.
• Secure necessary permits, licenses, and approvals.

Construction Oversight

• Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address challenges proactively.

Budget Management

• Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and timelines.
• Approve invoices, change orders, and payment applications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate overruns.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams.
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Resolve issues and keep teams aligned and motivated.

Risk Management & Reporting

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Keep accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Preferred candidate will have experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Smart Sheets, and Google Workspace .
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
• PMP certification or similar credentials preferred.

Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based with regular travel to job sites.
• Occasional work outside normal business hours, as project demands require (infrequent).
