Role Summary

The Regulatory Project Manager supports the Rates, Revenue, and Regulatory Requirements team with a focus on advancing regulatory strategy, filings, and compliance in multiple states. This role is central to coordinating major filings and regulatory initiatives tied to grid modernization, electric vehicle programs, rate cases, distributed energy resources, and corporate transactions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, legal counsel, and senior leadership, the Project Manager plays a key role in aligning business operations with regulatory frameworks and ensuring filings are thorough, timely, and defensible.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Regulatory Filings

Coordinate the development and submission of regulatory filings, including rate cases, cost recovery mechanisms, and approvals for new business initiatives. Ensure filings meet standards of financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment.

Develop Supporting Documentation

Oversee the preparation of testimony, supporting exhibits, and financial models in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and external consultants. Manage and track responses to regulatory information requests (IRs).

Conduct Regulatory & Policy Research

Support the formulation of regulatory strategy through targeted research and analysis on financial, legal, and policy topics. Help craft proposals that ensure fair cost recovery and advance the company’s operational and customer-focused goals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Policy Advocacy

Collaborate with Rates, Legal, Accounting, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and Customer Strategy teams to ensure regulatory filings reflect accurate financial and operational data

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Accounting, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory, utility, or financial project management

• Exceptional project coordination and organizational skills

• Strong analytical, financial, and written communication abilities

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and functions

• Confidence in presenting complex topics to leadership and regulatory audiences

• Commitment to ethical standards and rigorous documentation
