Job Description

THIS JOB IS IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA

Overview:

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate, institutional, and retail investors to drive business growth and maximize profits for the company. The position works closely with various departments to align efforts and meet the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales of cross-asset products to corporate, financial institutions, and retail clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strong business relationships with clients and market participants.
  • Drive cross-border sales and trading activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures at both personal and team levels.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic data, and regulatory changes to make informed decisions.
  • Effectively communicate company policies and strategies between product heads and trading teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accurate transaction processing.
  • Demonstrate governance, risk management, and control practices in line with company policies.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their needs and offer tailored financial solutions.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. BA/BS required.
  • Excellent knowledge of equity and financial markets.
  • Good client management skills with established connections in corporate, institutional, and retail sectors.
  • Proficiency in financial products and market trends. Someone who is a student of the global financial landscape.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and product structuring skills.
  • SIE, Series 7, and 63 licenses (Unlicensed candidates will be sponsored and expected to complete accreditation within one month).
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
