About Us: BrightStar Care of Honolulu is looking for Skilled and Strong In-Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one In-home care for seniors during the weekends and is available to work in Downtown Honolulu and the Kapiolani area. This may include assistance with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in their own homes. Location: Downtown Honolulu & Kapiolani, Hawaii Job Type:

• Part-Time
• Full-Time
• Weekend Shifts Availability
• Morning Shift
• Overnight Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide companionship and engage in light activities.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Ensure the client’s safety and well-being at all times.
• Communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the family or care team.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the client.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an in-home caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
• Must be physically capable of performing the required tasks.
• Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
• Current BLS certification and TB test result.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
