This position will oversee Surgical Services as well as Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital.
Description:
The provides nursing leadership which supports and operationalizes the Trinity Health mission at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. The Director of Perioperative Services provides nursing operational planning and analysis, ensures that quality patient care is delivered according to the nursing process, and assures efficiency of daily operations.
The Director of Perioperative Services reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to include surgeons, anesthesiologists, Surgical Services leadership team, and bargaining unit leadership.
