This position is located at the El Cajon Field Office in El Cajon.

Under general direction of the Region Administrative Assistant, the Travel Relief Manager is a technical expert responsible for providing a full range of services in the Region and field offices, as well as, providing assistance to customers at outreach locations.

The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions

Works in an office setting assisting both internal and external customers with DMV related matters. Enters information into a computer. May sit or stand for extended periods of time. Conducts and scores driving performance evaluations to determine whether examinees possess at least minimum level of skill and knowledge required to operate a motor vehicle.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

• Selected candidate will be required to participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program.
