Mathematics, the study of quantity, structure, space, and change, is used as an essential tool in natural sciences, engineering, medicine, and computing. At AITR, we offer an excellent academic environment drafted to cater the students at all levels of mathematical proficiency. Our dedicated faculty members, who are experts in their fields, provide engaging and rigorous courses that lay a strong foundation and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They train the students with strong fundamentals of theory and practice.
Research is a cornerstone of our department's activities. Our faculty members are having specialization in area like Optimization Theory, Operation Research, Mathematical Modelling, Differential Equations and Data Science.
Mathematics and Statistics form the backbone of knowledge enhancement for Scientists and Engineers. Keeping this in view, our focus is to produce engineers equipped with modern Mathematical tools and having a strong understanding of Real-World and Engineering problems.
Overall, the Department of Mathematics is committed to fostering excellence in teaching, advancing mathematical knowledge through research, and serving as a valuable resource for the broader community.

LABORATORY FACILITIES@PHYSICS, AITR
The department has well equipped laboratory which provide good facilities for teaching, B.Tech & Diploma students. The laboratory curriculum includes a range of topics that covers the experiments related to Laser, Optics, and Solid State Physics etc as per the RGPV curriculum. We have lab manuals and Charts related to each experiment, these learning resources enhances the understanding of students and improve their practical skills.
