About Information technology Department
Information Technology is a branch of engineering, which deals with the application of computing technology to solve real life problems. Today we are living in a digital world where IT industries are playing an important role in this era of creativity and innovation. Whether it is Facebook, Amazon, or Google, humongous job opportunities are available for IT graduates globally. The world’s top companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Apple look forward to hiring Information Technology engineers – the innovative brains of India. Moreover, they are also paid bountifully.
The department was established with the objective to build an environment for the students to excel in education and research. The IT department is at the forefront to mould and produce the software professionals with proficient skillset and technical capability. The faculty members are highly motivated, enthusiastic and easily approachable. Apart from providing conceptual knowledge, equal emphasis is given on practical training as well. To incorporate the latest technologies, the department has collaboration with industries and has signed MoU with Ui-Path, Oracle, and Microsoft etc.

I am honored to serve as the Head of the IT Department, our department remains committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares our students for success in the fast-changing world of technology.
Our faculty members are dedicated to teaching and research, and we have assembled a team of experts in various areas, including software engineering, network security, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. We offer a well-rounded curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing our students for careers in various fields.
Beyond our academic programs, the IT Department offers a variety of extracurricular activities to help our students develop their skills and network with industry professionals. We organize hackathons, coding competitions, and guest lectures from industry experts regularly. We also have a well-equipped computer lab, a library with an extensive collection of technical books and journals, and a dedicated team of support staff who are always ready to assist our students.

This LAB is equipped with 30 highly configured Dell Optiplex 3060 computer Systems with processor i5 8th Gen With 500 GB Hard disk, 8 GB RAM All the required software’s are installed with antivirus with periodic updates and maintenance of laboratory are at high priority additional software installed for MEAN Web Development Framework are MongoDB, Express.JS, Angular.JS, and Node.JS,

This LAB is equipped with 30 highly configured Dell Optiplex 3060 computer Systems with processor i5 8th Gen With 500 GB Hard disk, 8 GB RAM All the required software’s are installed with antivirus with periodic updates and maintenance of laboratory are at high priority additional software installed for Database Management Systems are i.e. Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g, SQLite.

This LAB is equipped with 30 highly configured Dell Optiplex 3090 computer Systems with processor i3 10th Gen With 500 GB 8 GB All the required software’s are installed with antivirus with periodic updates and maintenance of laboratory are at high priority additional software installed to facilitate Research and Development activities in the department a lot of open source software’s like NS-2,OPNET,NS3,Omnet++,Packet Tracer.

This LAB is equipped with 30 highly configured Dell Optiplex 3090 computer Systems with processor i3 10th Gen With 500 GB Hard disk, 8 GB RAM All the required software’s are installed with antivirus with periodic updates and maintenance of laboratory are at high priority additional software installed Experiments which are performed in the lab with the help of open-source software’s i.e.: Android Studio, Eclipse,Kotlin,React JS etc.

The Lab is well equipped with modern desktop environments, well ventilated and well furnished, The lab is equipped with 60 PCs Dell Optiplex 3060, Processor Core i5 8th Gen, 500 GB Hard disk & 8GB RAM To demonstrate the latest cloud computing aspects, lab comprises of latest desktop systems with updated Cloud Simulators i.e.: Experiments are performed in Python, Kaggle, Anaconda, Orange Cloud Simulators, Hadoop, HDP etc.
